Governor Emmanuel pointed out that he would not be in office forever, saying by 2023, he would be out of the Government House.

He emphasized the need for the people of Akwa Ibom to protect the image and future of the State by shunning divisive tendencies, hatred and jealousy among one another.

The Governor described the youth as the heroes of today and tomorrow, advising them not to destroy public facilities as those properties belong to them and not the Government.

“90 per cent of those in government are young people. This means that the present administration is youth friendly and any youth can rise to any length in life with determination and commitment. Those who are destroying properties do not know what they are doing. If you destroy Akwa Ibom, then you will have no place to stay.” He said.
