Simply put, the praise-singing by Yahaya Bello leaves a smack of stupidity and low-energy. Of all the things he said, none made sense.
It’s unfortunate that at a time when Nigeria is crawling on her knees under the watch of a confused President Buhari, someone is projecting a failed Buhari as a reflection of us. What a cheap way to seek self-enrichment at the expense of the growing sufferings of Nigerians. The sycophants in us should have passed a very more positive message.
If Buhari becomes the reference point of Nigeria’s supposed greatness, then forget it, the country is doomed. I am not supposed however because Yahaya Bello is a beneficiary of the rot in Buhari’s k-legged leadership.
From massively rigged elections, corruption, to lack of infrastructure, and human capacity development. Not to talk of the heightened insecurity bedeviling the country today. It is a shame.
