Gowon Looting Allegations, Akinwumi Warn UK, Say He is Man of Honour

Former head of State, Yakubu Gowon was in recent day dragged into the mood of among of the most corrupt Nigerians.

The development come when UK parliament response to the petition to sanction Nigerians officials involved in the killing of #ENDSARS protesters.

Tugendhat in his contribution to the debate, call on UK to fish out corrupt Nigerians leaders, and use its powers to stop those who steal Nigeria’s wealth and stash them away in foreign countries.

“Some people will remember when General Gowon left Nigeria with half of the Central Bank, so it is said, and moved to London,” he said

Reacting to the statement, the President of African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina warn that UK should

be careful of misinformation.

He describes Gown as a man of honour, decency and honesty.
