At least four “Imo Stars” -as alumni of Imo State University, Owerri are also addressed – have been appointed as chairmen of different jurisdictions of the Imo State Customary Court.
Those confirmed so far are: Barristers Emperor Iwuala, Oscar-Primus Chiduziem Mbaeri Mbaeri , Chidi Onyeoziri and Kelechi Ogu.
These eminent Stars emerged following painstaking selection processes by the Imo State Judiciary Service Commission who recommended them, after they had ticked all the required boxes as well as exhibiting indubitable competence, proven impartiality and the right judicial temperament and proficient knowledge of law.
We at the Imo State University Alumni Association are glad to associate with these brilliant and distinguished Stars and we do not have the slightest doubt that they will continue to shine brightly as Stars, in the new responsibilities thrust upon them.
