Breaking: 38 Inmates Kept Under Police custody Due to Prison Congestion Escape in Enugu

Omokoshaban learn in a report that no fewer than 38 to 40 inmates under police custody escaped on Sunday Night in Enugu State.

The escaped inmates with related offence were kept under police custody due prison congestion in the state.

The escaped inmates were kept at the police cells at the State Criminal Investigation Department, they allegedly escape from inside the State Police Headquarters on Sunday night. police source told newsmen.

Our correspondent gathered that Magistrate Courts remanded those inmates at the police cells during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
