Gunmen have attacked the Divisional Police Headquarters in Ikono Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State and set free suspects in custody.
The incident occurred in the early hours of today at about 3am, with the criminals suspected to be members of the Eastern Security Network, killing two Police officers in the process.
Five vehicles were burnt with a Police woman on night duty critically injured.
This is coming few days after another gang shot dead two Police officers in Ika while on their way to attack the Local Government Divisional Headquarters, which was repelled by the superior power of the Police.
