Bandits Killed Kogi State Commissioner of pension board, Chief Adebayo Solomon.
He was killed yesterday evening 1st of May 2021, by bandit along Ilorin-Egbe road.
His death was announced by a Facebook user identify as Kekere youth.
He post read “CHIEF Adebayo Solomon was reportedly fellen to bullets of the dare devil bandits along Ilorin- Egbe road this evening. May your soul rest in peace. Amen. ”.
One of the Facebook user who commented on the incident said Bandits has taken over the road for the past 1 month now, and anytime he is passing through the road he always be on prayer for God to save him and passed through there successfully without any attack.
Meanwhile omokoshaban learn further that council boss kidnapped after killing the Commissioner.
The two Kogi officials were travelling from Ilorin, Kwara State capital, to Kabba in Kogi State on Saturday, when they were attacked.
Also, the Chairperson of Yagba East Local Government, Pius Kolawole, was reportedly kidnapped after the incident.
The corpse of the commissioner had since been deposited at ECWA Hospital, Egbe, while the whereabouts of Mr Kolawole remained unknown.
