For the information of those who genuinely seek to know the offence of Marshal and those mischievously strongly believe Marshal was arrested because he stood surety for Omoyele Sowore and that Sowore now jumped bail, here is the charge sheet.
What is wrong with this proceeding? Many things are wrong. Firstly, the Grade 1 Area Court where a lawyer was charged has no criminal jurisdiction to entertain the so-called charge.
Secondly, the offence Marshal was accused of is that he was concealing Sowore and shielding him from investigation.
For this laughable charge, a lawyer has been remanded in prison custody since Friday by a court that lacks the criminal jurisdiction in law to even entertain any such case.
We shall fight this injustice to the end!
