Governor Bala Approved Construction of 13.6km road award and Abandoned by APC Govt in 2016

Bauchi State governor, Bala Muhammad has approved the construction of 13.6 Kilometers “Hanafari-Jurara-G/Babani-S/Kafi-Dogon Jeji Road, in Jama’are Local Government Area” awarded in 2016 by All Progressive Congress, APC, government.

Musa Azare, Special Adviser to the Governor on Projects Monitoring who disclose the development yesterday 3rd of July 2022, stated after awarding by the previous government, it was abandoned.

According to the statement:

His Excellency Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, Executive Governor of Bauchi State has approved the continuation of the construction of the 31.6 kilometres Hanafari-Jurara-G/Babani-S/Kafi-Dogon Jeji Road, in Jama’are Local Government Area.


This road project was awarded on 10th October, 2016, with expected date of completion on 10th October, 2018 (two years) by the last administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State. But the APC administration abandoned the project until its unceremonious exit in 2019.
