Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has blamed PDP of his Inability to pay Salaries and pension

“Why I can’t pay workers’ salaries, pensions in Kogi – Gov. Yahaya Bello”

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has blamed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for his inability to pay Kogi workers’ their salaries and pension.

According to a statement by his spokesman, Kingsley Fanwo, said that the project embarked on by last administration of PDP failed through collaboration, which accumulate depth for the state.

Kingsley, who was future as a guest on a Channels Television programme Politics Today, on Wednesday, revealed that Governor Yahaya Bello administration had only been able to access N20bn bailout funds which has made them unable to pay salaries and pension.

“On the issue of salaries, PDP caused most of the problems we face. They took bonds and they were expending it on white elephant projects. We did not collect N30bn bailout, we took N20bn.

He said “What we needed to pay salaries and pensions projected N50.8bn which was approved by president Buhari. From the N50.8bn, we have accessed only N20bn, remaining N30.8bn, that is the reason why we are still owing salaries.”

We can recall Yahaya BELLO in an interview before presidential election said that they not owning any worker’s salaries.

According him, ” we are not owing any workers salaries, everybody is living fine all salaries are been pay as at were dew”.
