For over 3 months, Chijioke Nnamani a graduate of Madonna University, currently a serving Corp member of the NYSC and 6 others have been in Awka prison because they spoke against a tyrannic school administration.
We took our time to investigate the issue and we can confirm that they are Innocent. From investigation we can adjudge that the management of Madonna University wants to jail them for being activists.
Quite painful it is that they have been granted bail but the lawyer hired by the school is sitting unceremoniously on the case file.
The National Association of Nigerian Students has decided to wield into the matter and we are calling on all comrades to consider this as an injury to all.
We are calling on all comrades in Anambra and its environs to come out en masse to show solidarity with them tomorrow(11th June 2019) as their case is being heard in the Anambra high court by 8am.
An injury to one is an injury to all.
