Kogi East APC Zonal Chairman Convenes Women, Youths Stakeholders Meeting

As part of moves to mobilise women, youths and relevant Stakeholders ahead of the slated gubernatorial primary, the zonal Chairman of the party in charge of East, Hon. Ahmed Attah held an interactive meeting with key Stakeholders on the need to fully support Governor Yahaya Bello and his second term aspiration.

The meeting, which took place at the LG office in Anyigba was attended by women and youths across the 9 Local Government Areas that made up Easter Senatorial Zone.

In his opening remarks, Hon. Ahmed Attah, the zonal Chairman, said that the main focus of the Stakeholders’ meeting was to mobilise APC women and youths in Eastern Zone to come up with fruitful for the campaigns that will start before and after the primary. He said, the meeting is important, so as to mobilise women and youths especially the delegates in the APC to come enmass and support the reelection of Governor Yahaya Bello. He therefore call on all APC delegates in the State, supporters of GYB to swift into action and continue with their support, solidarity towards the success of the party in the slated primary and subsequent general elections, slated for November 16th, 2019.

According to him, without saying anything, we can make the assessment by ourselves and it is obviously evident that APC government under the new direction christened by Alhaji Yahaya Bello within the last three years, performed wonderfully well more than past failed administrations.

Attah, commended Governor Yahaya Bello Agricultural revolution, security, health and education best of it’s kind since the State was created over four decades ago.

Assured the Stakeholders that a proper campaign time table would be made available as soon as possible for them to identify all the APC activities at the State, zonal, LG and ward levels.

Other speakers at the event spoke in one voice and said the meeting became necessary for all APC women and youths in their zone to support the reelection bid of the incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello.

Some women equally extend their hearty appreciation to the zonal Chairman Hon. Ahmed Attah for carrying all the party members along in the scheme of activities as one big family. She added.
