Kogi, Kotonkarfe Local Government Administrator, Alhaji Muhammed Musa Tanko alias Osuku, has congratulated his elder brother and a serving national assembly member representing the good people of Lokoja/Kotonkarfe federal constituency, Hon. Abdulkarim Usman Isah alias Wambai, over Monday tribunal ruling that validated his election as house of representatives member.
Barr. Tanko described the tribunal ruling as an affirmation of the people’s will as expressed through their votes in the last general election.
The Chairman, in a statement by his media assistant, Yahaya Idris, said, “It is a beginning of a new dawn for democracy and people of Lokoja/Kotonkarfe.
According to the Administrator, the political squabble between two brothers has finally settled by the competent court which affirmed Hon. Abdulkarim Usman Isah Wambai as the true winner of the election.
“i Heartily congratulate my brother, a serving national assembly member, Hon. Abdulkarim Usman Isah Wambai and a congratulation to the people of Lokoja/Koronkarfe, who are the true winners in the race,” the Administrator stated, adding that Wambai would take the constituents he represent to the next level of development and prosperity.
The Administrator also urged Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, PDP, candidate in the said election to accept it in good faith as God give power to who he pleases with.
