Hon. Ahmed Dahiru called for construction of pedestrial-bridge at Obehira Junction Okengwe road

The Kogi State House of Assembly member, Hon. Ahmed Dahiru Amewuru, has called on the state Government to construct. “pedestrial-bridge at Obehira Junction Okengwe road” in Okene.

Dahiru made the called thorough the bill presented to the floor of the House yesterday 25th of September 2019.

According to the term, ” Hon. Ahmed Dahiru Amewuru (Haco) Okene II House of Assembly Representative, yesterday 25th Sept. 2019 presents a bill before the house over the need to construct a pedestrial-bridge at Obehira Junction Okengwe road.

“He said, the rate of accident occur around the junction is too alarming expecially during Ohu Manaka (Market day), and he sighted many examples of accidents which claims many lives and properties worth millions of naira were destroyed to a fuel tanker fire accidents some years ago. Therefore, he urges the honourable house to access the area mentioned above for proper implementation of the bill moved.

“The honourable speaker pledged his full support and said the bill will be attended to with immediate effect, He will make sure the bill pass on time for purpose of saving the lives of people.”
