Adavi LG Council Administrator Hails Teachers in Adavi LG for Endorsing GYB/CEDO.

The Administrator of Adavi LG, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami attended the GYB/CEDO endorsement programme organized today by teachers in Adavi LG, thanked them for their support for GYB/CEDO re-election assignment. The event which was spare headed by the Educational Secretary, Pastor Isiah and the NUT President had in attendance, all teachers and some political Appointees.

Hon. Joseph started by appreciating God for making every one of them withness today and also thanked the teachers for deeming it fit to organize such a programme for Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello/ Chief Edward David Onoja. He added that, everyone knows the importance of teachers in society as there contributions and support matters a lot to anybody vying for a political position. He commended their level of cooperation and patience since he assumed office as the administrator of Adavi LG. Describing the NUT in Adavi LG Chapter as one of the supportive pillars to his administration, especially the Educational Secretary and the Union President.

Speaking further, Hon. Joseph said the Teachers welfare is one of his major concerns in which he holds with high esteem since he assumed office. He added that he knew how hard he has pushed forward to see most of them in the uncleared list with minor issues to get cleared. Added that today, he’s happy there’s an improvement in terms of their salaries and most of them that were in the uncleared list due to ignorable offenses have also been cleared and their salary as well have been paid to them. He pledged continual efforts to see that whatever that is due for them shall be given to them, especially this time they have shown that they appreciate everything His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello has done for them and decided to organize such an unusual event to drum more support for GYB. “I can assure you all that, your challenges will be taken care of the more when Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello returns back to the office, he promised.

While rounding up his speech, he reassured the teachers his commitment to see that their demands and needs are met soon, as he’s going to join hands with other State Appointees especially those from the Central to hold discussion with the Head of Service to look into demands and challenges facing them.

“I thank every one of you in support of this idea and I can assure you that, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello will definitely reciprocate this gesture back to every one of you. Thank you all for your patience and prayers for Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello.” He said.

In attendance were; the wife of the Distinguish Senator Alh. Oseni, Hajia Rekiyat Oseni, the D.G on Land matter/ Housing to the State Government, Hajia Ladi, the State House of Assembly Member, Hon. Ibrahim Usman, the APC Zonal Party Chairman, Hon. Ahovi, the APC Zonal Woman leader, Hajia Hauwa, the Administrative Team and host of others.
