So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God.

Jesus says in….. Matthew 5:17-19 (King James Version)

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Paul says in….. Romans 4:15 (NIV). Because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.

WHAT DOES THE QUR’AN SAYS ABOUT REPENTANCE?

Quran 4:110. And whoever does evil or acts unjustly to his soul, then asks forgiveness of Allah, he shall find Allah Forgiving, Merciful.

Quran 7:153. And (as to) those who do evil deeds, then repent after that and believe, your Lord after that is most surely Forgiving, Merciful.

Qur’an 25:71. And whoever repents and does good, he surely turns to Allah a (goodly) turning.
