Five Aid workers abducted by Boko Haram insurgents regained Freedoms

Five aid workers kidnapped by Boko Haram insurgents December last years regained freedom.

Two Females and three males, aides workers were reportedly kidnapped on 22nd of December 2019, by suspected Boko Haram terrorists, when the gunmen ambushed their vehicle between Monguno and Damaturu.

PREMIUM TIMES, report that, the five aides workers were Fred, due to the intervention of security official.

“It is a big day for us here in Borno with the release of the five abductees, ” source who speak with premium times said.

The report disclosed that the five aides workers set free by there abducted arrived at the DSS office in Maiduguri at about 4 pm.

The source said, “two of the abductees were staff of ALIMA, an international NGO; one from Solidarity International, one from International Organization on Migration and one from Red Cross.”

No information, either Ransom were paid before they were set free.
