Yesterday afternoon his Excellency the Executive Governor of Borno state was in Diffa one of the seven regions of Niger Republic which is camping Nigerian Refugees from Borno state.
The governor was accorded warm reception from speaker of Diffa and other top political and traditional leaders of the region
The Governor appreciated the efforts of the Government and People of Niger Republic for tolerating and hosting Borno people who where affected by the insurgency for over five years.He also disclosed that he will straighten the bilateral relationship existing between the two states for maximum benefit.
On hummanitrian issues the governor said they were in Diffa to meet with refuges and to encourage them not to lost hope as his Government is doing everything possible to resettle them home base international standard of ensuring total Security of their lives and property.
