Football players have taken a knee in support of the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
They did this before play in the first two matches of the restarted Premier League season.
The Premier league season has returned after a 100-day absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Those on the pitch, including officials, knelt down at the kick-off of Aston Villa’s match at home to Sheffield United and then Manchester City’s game against Arsenal.
The names of the players on their shirts were replaced with “Black Lives Matter” as anti-racism protests continue across the world.
