Top transfer news: Analysis– Victor Osimhen ready for Napoli move.

It’s no longer news that Lille of France striker, Victor Osimhen has over the past month been a transfer target for Napoli.

Napoli sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli has confirmed countless times that the club is highly interested in the Super Eagles forward but admitted that he won’t be easy get as he is aware that the striker is also target for many top teams in Europe.

Osimhen scored 19 goals and recorded five assists in all competitions for Lille in the just-concluded season and has been a top target for elites like Liverpool, Chelsea amongst others.

But with the interest of those top teams in Osimhen gradually fading, the coast seems to be getting clear for Napoli. Napoli boss,Gennaro Gattuso has even come out to say that him and his club are trying their best to bring in the Striker, but maintained they don’t have many funds to spend.

Osimhen was in Naples to discuss terms with Napoli chief,Aurelio De Laurentiis on a possible move, but the Striker is now back in France as he awaits a final decision from Lille and Napoli. The deal could be sealed next week and it could be in the region of €65million, which will make him Nigeria’s second most expensive player ever.
