The residents of Kotonkarfe in Kogi Local Government area of Kogi state early today morning took to open field to beseech God Intervention over rain Scarcity that has erupted Nationwide.
The residents troop in numbers to the township to observe Salaatu Al-Istisqaai at about 8:00am at the Eid prayer ground on Tuesday 18th of August 2020.
According to Comr. Jimba who speak with Omokoshaban correspondent said that ” all of them troop to Kotonkarfe townships to observed Salaatu Al-istisqaai exactly 8.am today been 180820 at Eid prayer ground.
Because their crops they planted earlier are dying according to him
“We beseech Allah intervention on the scarcity of rain that befall our society. May Allah Grant us blissful rain, that will impact positively on our farm crops, and to all natural endowment.
O Allah! Forgive the deaths, and the living of their shortcomings, knowingly or unknowingly, provide our society with elastin serenity, may we never witness famines, hardship, turbulent moment, and crown our efforts with aljennatu firdaus.”.
Scarcity of rain has erupted the entire Nigeria.
In some part of the country it is now 2 month since rain fall last.
In Edo State, it is now 1 month since rain fall last.
The weather conditions has change as if we are in the period of harmattan.
