Earlier, at the formal presentation of Starter packs to pioneer beneficiaries of the NEDC ICT training programme, His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni, the Executive Governor of Yobe State commends the commission for its youth’s training among other interventions in the State.
His Excellency Gov. Buni who was represented at the occasion by Secretary to the State Government Baba Malam Wali mni applauds NEDC for its 95 RRI projects among other development interventions across the 17 LGA’s in the State.
In his opening remarks, the Managing Director/CEO NEDC Mohammed G. Alkali said the RRI projects and the ICT training programme would serve as catalyst to facilitate recovery in the North East by Boko Haram insurgency in the region.
In the occasion, the Commission also distributed learning materials, COVID-19 preventive items to Public and Private Primary Schools, Agricultural inputs to organised groups as well as Security Agencies in Yobe State.
