Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma Reject Edo Governorship result, Say APC will Win In Court

Governor Hope Uzodinma, of Imo State has reacted to Saturday 19th Governorship election in Edo State that produce governor Godwin Obaseki as the governor elect.

Uzodinma in his reaction rejected the outcome of the election.

Uzodinma who reacted in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Oguwike Nwachuku, say that APC will win the election in court.

According to him APC is already gathering fact, they will soon proceed to court

The governor also accuse INEC official of playing partiality, described the conduct of INEC officials in Edo as ‘shameful’.

“The governor also thanked the governorship candidate of the APC in Edo, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, for his resilience and doggedness.
He also assured that the APC is already gathering evidence to proceed to the Election Petition Tribunal any moment from now, confident that the party will get judgment in due time.

“Governor Uzodinma urged all APC faithfuls and party State supporters to remain calm and law abiding, noting that what happened in Edo State was a sabotage to our hard-worn democracy in Nigeria,” the statement read

Recall that Governor Hope, were been called Supreme Court Governor by Nigerians.

He was called Supreme court Governor because he was never elected, he was declared winner by the Supreme court.
